look at the US. they are the most right wing, selfish, individual-based society in the west yet even they are having to allow free virus testing and “socialist” policies $1000 cheques
That and trying to steal/own the vaccine.

I work in social housing company, on the blower. Now setup at home (this whole scenario really put their working from policy they’ve been piecing together into force sooner rather than later haha).
Had a few calls coming in asking about ‘rent freezes’ and rent reductions (mainly because the rent increase is set to take place from April). We cannot issue without any type of rent freezes without the input from the government.
Hopefully everyone will be sorted out, as there are lots of people I have spoken to who have to sign up onto Universal Credit for the foreseeable…

So I’m into my third day of isolation as I became ill. The mrs is working from home and we’ve locked ourselves away for the benefit of other people. However, we can’t get an online food delivery from any of the supermarkets as all of their slots are filled. Anyone got another idea of how we get shit from the shops?

I feel like a right pain getting mates to do my shopping for me and dropping it off. Going to keep checking all the supermarkets in the hope of a slot opening up!

If anyone struggling to get groceries, there’s an app called olio that people give away free food that’s going to waste - we just got a free kebab from this relatively “fancy” kebab place that’s shutting down for the foreseeable so they’re giving away all the rest of their food
