Yes! I love how normal he sounds. Seems like you could chat with him on a bench in a skatepark and not feel like he’s Shane O’Neill, if that makes sense. Good talk about the concept of the illegality of a trick too.

But what do you think the reason for cutting short filming for Shane Goes 2 was? He was very coy about that. Big sponsor change?

Really enjoyed this. But listening to this and the Nine Club where they reviewed his new part, it’s starting to piss me off how everyone is putting his part under a microscope looking for negatives, like did he tick tack on that or was that trick illegal. Let’s not get it twisted, by anyone’s standards his part is fucking incredible and has some of the most perfectly executed tech I’ve ever seen. Cephas and Dono need to put some respect on his name.

I found his take on filming an April full length interesting.
From what I understood, Guy doesn’t need to film another part which is fair. The rest of them seem to have loads of other (paid) obligations with contests etc. Plus skaters are actually filming non stop these days with social media, so yeah a full length 45 minute video project does sound a bit expensive and redundant.
His question of who a full length benefits was valid too.
Overall a great episode.

I don’t actually picture Mariano struggling that much to film a part even if O’Neill doesn’t want to ask that of him. He looks pretty healthy and still seems to be productive, even if most of his stuff just goes on social media.
Listening to the Frankie Spears episode and crying laughing. He’s like a New York Jereme Rogers. Someone needs to tell him to stop talking, it’s a car crash!

I enjoyed this, seems like a nice chap, not a ‘barn burner’ or anything but a good listen on a Friday afternoon.
Things at Emerica don’t sound very good at the moment.
