Who’s the thumbnail?
My brain recognises it, but is refusing to follow through and tell me who it is.

No spoiler.
hmmmmmm i think you need to fill first -
https://helpx.adobe.com/uk/photoshop/using/generative-fill.html
like select a section, generate fill, then you get the generate variations option
bear in mind i work for the ecommerce part of adobe and am functionality retarded when it comes to anything to do with content creation that doesn’t involve directly making it with AI
Aha! Got it! Had to scroll down inside the Properties window. Thank you very much.
It says the area selected is too small to enhance, but maybe it doesn’t need it. Cheers again.
i’m not sure i helped in the slightest but stoked you found what you wanted ![]()
Some people on here know a bit about GDPR right? I work at a skatepark and a higher up at work telling me I need to get a signed consent form in order to post a clip of anyone on our Instagram, under the dreaded guise of “GDPR complience!”. So if I want to post a clip of little johnny boardsliding the rail or something I have to get his parents to sign a fucking form for it. Seems ridiculous and untrue, anyone know if this may actually be the case? Can’t imagine anyone else out there is doing it.
Tell them it’s not your understanding of it, and ask them to point you in the direction of the piece of legislation that they believe makes that a requirement.
Make them do the legwork for you.
Think it’s true I’m afraid. The local school, nursery and scout group all do it so I’m guessing there’s a reason, given what a ball ache it is to manage.
does the skatepark not have a waver thing you need to sign on entry? those usually include gdpr in them
Yep, they’re under 18, so you’ll need parental permission, usually in the form of a waiver they’d sign when they join (long term membership) or just pay in on the day.
99% of parents would be fine, but all it takes is 1 of them to decide that you’re enabling paedophilia by showing somebody skating.
The death of search
Well worth a listen if you work in SEO
That was very interesting and can also see it unless you are selling a product right?
This is the death of SEO in terms of content writing, so for my work we would still traffic driven by product but not by any content we are creating to push traffic there
Currently in an apple store to get the battery checked on my macbook.
Why are these shops and the staff so insufferable?
The whole client filtering, fake friendliness and cultish atmosphere sucks.
Edit: The tech guy was nice though.
Kid’s started secondary and school is pushing a lot of homework and projects online.
Can anyone recommend a good laptop or tablet with keyboard solution that runs microsoft 365 with teams, one note, etc?
I was thinking of an equivalent to a chromebook or something.
2 days ago my cost per conversion exploded for one of my clients. I thought it was a reporting delay bug/glitch which can happen.
I had a look how it was looking for yesterday…0 conversions. None.
I opened up the landing pages and discovered the client had changed the fucking form completely without fucking telling us. What the actual fucking fuck.
They haven’t even asked for our input on the design. It links people off the landing page to a subdomain and it’s like a 15 step form with loads of freeform boxes to write in. A horror show.
We vaguely knew they wanted to do this in a few months down the line but they just out the blue went for it…without even telling us.
Never seen anything like it. Nuts. Just ripped it all up and are surprised the conversion tracking has broken along with it.
They refuse to roll it back too as an added bonus. They say it’s ‘impossible’.
I’ve been doing this at my computer the entire day

At least it’s clearly not your fault
You get far too angry about stuff like this, I hope you’re keeping an eye on your blood pressure
Yeah exactly, I love it when clients do dumb shit cos you get to justify the big bucks
Yeah fair. 99% of the time my mantra is the stakes couldn’t be lower. No ones going to die or anything if something goes wrong in my job so I’m normally fairly stress free, but this was an exceptionally stupid thing for someone to do. Really properly enragingly stupid.
We have fairly hard targets to achieve for these guys and now we can probably rip those up because they’ve so fundementally changed things so it might turn out to be a blessing in disguise.
Yeah just keep reminding everyone that this change was not planned and you have to ‘rebuild’. That way expectations are set that you are starting from zero again, it will serve as a reminder that it’s not on you. Like in all comms, just when you think people are sick of hearing the same thing over and over, that’s just when it’s starting to sink in, so don’t be shy about reminding people!
I would try to organise some realistic targets agreed, that way management have a better idea of the damage done. But frame it about ‘what we’ve all learnt’ and the importance of communicating plans etc
Has the Internet stopped working?
