I don’t mind the running. Prefer that to time wasting dudes who jump out and slowly meander back to dropping in.
For me, I think Vincent Milou is constantly the perfect skater out there. Big fan.

Running and a little hustle is fine.
In his first run he just had a very egregious example of “I did a trick over here” and now “I must do a trick over there”

Hate to sound like Sean Goff, but this kind of sucks. If he’s not receiving Sport England funds, then disregard this rant. But why bother putting Andy Mac on the Skateboard GB team?
I have no issue with him representing Britain, and if he was to hustle his way through the qualification process using his sponsors’ money that would be kind of sick. But this team place would be much better going to someone young who Skateboard GB can work with and develop.
As we saw Rune at the last Olympics, anyone over 40 (and probably over 30) is not realistically going to be competitive if they get to the finals.
If we’re throwing money at Andy Mac to travel to and essentially qualify by way of entering more comps than his rivals, then that is wack.
What happened to Hallford? Jordan? Beckett?

If it is true to the original; yes.
Contests are in a weird place these days. There is a whole line of skaters solely about contests which didn’t exist in such a major form when WOTR ran.
If it can pull in all the street crew who never attend this stuff anymore, then yes.
I hope it’s achievable.
