When are the other skate events?
Women’s street starts this morning at 1am. Park is 4-5th August. All the same start time.
Although the Olympics site is listing the remaining events as ‘Rescheduled’. What does that mean?
Edit: possibly because of an incoming typhoon!
I am guessing that nyjah will need some kind of counselling due to expectations (including his own) not being met. Poor guy must be absolutely crushed. I mean, I’m not a fan and he’s needed a dressing down for a while but this could seriously fuck him up.

I’m a fan of Yuto and all his crazy nollie tricks down the big stuff, but you’ve got to say he’s done very well to get into a position where his comp-winners don’t involve any flips.

I’m sorry but did he not read the competition hand book? He’s lived and breathes them and has been around every one else who’s had to lose to him.
Now it’s his turn especially not placing.
He’s an amazing skater but has a stinking jock mentality and hopefully he’ll be brought down to earth for a change .
Because he does tricks which no one else does. At all.
Involving a flip doesn’t necessarily mean a trick is harder.
He is literally the only person doing backside 270 nollie noseslides which are soooo much harder than a 360 flip lip.

I’m convinced they gave him a lower score on that trick to keep him out of the top 3 for the final attempts and take the pressure off Yuto a bit.

Who are the main contenders for the bowl event or whatever the other skate thing is? Is there no vert comp? When I watched the finals I only knew Yuto, the two French guys and 9gel. Had you guys heard of Jagger Eaton, the other Japanese guy, and the south Americans? I’m guessing if I watched Street League these would be familiar names, correct?
Jagger Eaton is massive, for sure.
Finally getting round to watching the finals now. The course feels really slow? Don’t know if it’s just the set up or the filming but everyone looks like they’re really struggling to go back and forth.
Nyjah just looks like he’s struggling in general
