Just swap their pronouns for their actual name, its easier, you can’t get it wrong and it makes it sound like you’re commentating a Wrestling match.

Showing someone what is wrong =/= showing someone what is right.
I’m not mad, I’m simply baffled by people who raise a problem and then they don’t try to educate and inform you on what the preferred/right form is especially when you ask to be corrected.

GB needed that win vs the mighty USA after they were utterly destroyed by Fiji in the rugby 7s, that was pretty embarrassing to watch.

Obviously no one has set out to upset or offend anyone so why act like they had? It was a women’s comp so its pretty understandable to use those pronouns.
If it means that much it probably would’ve been worth pointing out it out in a friendly way rather than act as if they’d done it on purpose. It’s hardly the crime of the century is it.
Anyway, I think as well as the embarrassment of having dressage in the Olympics, it’s even more embarrassing we don’t sweep the podium every time. It’s just being a big posho.
