It looks like she’s pulling out because she’s worried she’s not going to win. Isn’t that the pressure of competing at the highest level.
I hope she’s ok but it’s very strange. You don’t just pull out if you’re going to lose to save face do you?
If she was pulling out completely it would be a different story and I’ve no idea what’s going on with her but seems weird to still compete in some events.

You reckon she’s faking it yeah?
Maybe some events trigger her stress, anxiety etc more than others. So she does the ones she’s comfortable with.

Yeah ok, that does make more sense, it was only weird when she was competing in some and not others.
Is nerves or not being fussed a mental health problem?

If you knew you weren’t on form , were gonna let your team down and had a very jock nation on your shoulders I can see why she’s gone down a hole .

I reckon even tho nyjha would have doubts and issues , always placing 1st or 2nd in SLS, his shear self confidence in his abilities and it being the first Olympic event ever, I reckon he wouldn’t know the pressure Simone is under as she’s done it all before .
