But who knows after the street contest. Temperature, no crowds, the pressure and mental state could throw a spanner in the works

I really don’t want that Heimana dude to win. He’s just a faster bigger version of every surf-town bowl-brah skatepark hero. I’m sure he’s a nice guy but those kickflip grabs and frontside air disasters are gross.

Rooting for Oski, but would expect Pedro to take it as he can do more of the eye-catching stuff that the judges will probably like.
As much as I’m amazed by Corey Juneau’s skating I’ve been put off him when it was revealed he was an ignorant, racist piece of shit.
My bet for the women’s is Sakura Yosozumi. She was the only one doing 540s at the Dew Tour and that gave her a massive advantage (she won). Maybe Sky has learnt them in the interim or wasn’t showing her rivals she could do them, but I wouldn’t bet against the Japanese!
Sky has landed them. I remember she did a really good one on Hawk’s ramp, but not sure she has them as a go-to.

Plus her winning run at the recent x-games was really impressive where she did that massive fs 360 over the middle straight into a kf indy. She did a fs 540 too in the same run.
Is there a Sky video part or something out there worth a watch? I know next to nothing about her.
Surprised to see Lizzie back on form so quickly and in the running, after that slam the other year.

Not really. There’s this that came out when she went pro for almost but the footy is a couple of years old, I think. Shows her chucking a decent mctwist near the start.

Not a part, but recent contest footage. She’s not going big, but seems to have some surprising tricks on lock. Unless she’s got 540/720s dialed I can’t see her winning though
