You can tell he grew up in the sticks as he can adapt to any terrain. He films long lines where most people would struggle to film a decent single trick. Incredible indeed.
I’ve never seen him in the flesh but I bet he’s the kind of guy that shows up to a shitty skatepark, skates for 3 hours, lands 130 different tricks, finds new lines and is still somehow be a normal, down to earth dude.
Just rewatched these two sections, brilliant stuff.

Holy shit! I was a fan before but man, he has ramped it up loads in this. Amazing skating. He’s one of the few who can mix goofy quirk and classy real shit. He always add that extra mile on his tricks and does it in the right way, never adding the wrong thing.
On the other side, I watched that dechuna part. While he’s clearly talented, everything he did was the wrong thing to do, no thought on aesthetics. In my opinion of course.

Those dudes are usually the best, most fun to watch. I’ll put Gonz, Boulala and Kremer in this category.
Rattray used to have weird, surprising things in his parts too (Mexican U-turns, those weird power slides with one foot on the ground à la Natas etc.). Brad Cromer often does straight up illegal shit yet somehow always makes it look dope as fuck too.

Yeah this is my perspective too. Even some of the “simple” stuff, like the big no-comply over the gate, and the manual on the bench to front board to manual off the kerb; just executed in a way that’s so pleasing to watch. As you say, for someone I’d never knowingly heard of to come up with a part like that is awesome, but kind of sad that he’s seemingly not a name on everybody’s lips. Hopefully that’ll change.

Amazing! I have a real soft spot for his skate more part, I know it’s just ollies but he’s one of the best at it, possibly THE best.
People are saying he’s in the hospital with a brain tumour/cancer. This is horrible if true.
