Totally. The could have run the photos with big captions, maybe? Just an embarrassing read. I’ve binned interviews that have been too shit, and I’ve added words to make people sound like less of a dick, so not sure why either couldn’t have been done with this.
I’d have probably liked Yardsale if it wasn’t for this, early on anyway.
I once left the enormous volume of swear words in an interview as I felt it helped make it more interesting that what little was actually being said.
Like I say, though…lotta these people are teens. I can imagine their 40 yo selves being pretty gutted when all they have as hard copy to look back on is a few photos and a conversation about Haribo.

I remember thinking the exact same. I get LS’s point about it not always being easy to get anything interesting out of young folks like this, but if it comes out as bad as that then why even publish it. Definitely felt like a bit of a sad attempt to cover what was “trending” at the time.
