Best addition to the Toy lineup since Leo
Dashawn?
Forgot about him, but I’d still go with Braydon. Dashawn’s skating is sick though
Dashawn leaves me cold.
Yknow I’d have said that about Yuto but holy fuck he casually destroyed hubba and looked good doing it. Jamie Foy heelflip back five-0 like its not a massive hubba
I stopped working, sat down, watched this and ate a banana. Thanks Ben x
Is that the guy that was on Welcome?
Always enjoy Ryan Lay footage. I got the impression from interviews he was close to retiring from pro skating, so am glad to see that sci-fi can pay him.
Haven’t been on here in a good while and the first thing that popped up in this thread was @franc’s post of Sylvain Tognelli trying that cab hippie jump. I love seeing/hearing people’s sages of multiple return tricks but what an insane one to get locked into.
“Yeah I’m gonna post my board through this gap whilst jumping over an above knee height bar backwards.”
It also reminded me of this video of Jake Johnson trying to switch flip back lip down Blubba to no avail.
Anyway, hyped on Ryan Lay’s Sci-Fi part. Feel that company has potential and a certain look but it has been a long time coming for it to cement a proper identity. Be cool to see if it comes to fruition and I imagine it will with Ryan on board.
Ryan Lay part is amazing, so much good shit in it. The multi storey line with the long Switch Back 50 was dope.
Didn’t expect this, especially after seeing that:
He somehow just got even betterer with that blunt fakie clip. What a legend.
That Sci-Fi part was dope. Loved the car park line and the noseslide nollie flip out playing around the hydrant.
His park footage in AZ is more inspiring than a lot of street footage that comes out these days, speaks volumes about what an ill skater he is. Long live Ryan Lay.
That was amazing!
Had to stop watching halfway through as it made me really dizzy.
That was an incredible feat of endurance and consistency. I can’t believe he got to 92 before doing a flatground trick.
He basically did more different tricks in one line than most skaters in their entire lives.
nah he did a nollie flip pretty early in. but 102 tricks without a fall. and not exactly sticking to the basics either. crazy
Etnies dropped Ryan Lay and then sponsored Aurelien Giraud.
