The Continually Updated Footage Thread

Guess so, but when someone is like I want to do this. Anyway just amazing, so sick.

Levi’s Europe, including Munro and Connor, in Puerto Rico.

Zion Wright and Beagle have such good energy.

It’s not? Damn I was a bit baked watching that. It was sick anyway.

Nah, they’re not Asskicks - they’re OUS.

Never heard of those - they look ok if a little derivative and the logo’s too busy.

I quite like those

Good shit

Seems likes there’s a few different filmers - compare Gunes Ogdozan’s section which is filmed quite smoothly with Leo Valls, where his footage looks like it was shot by a guy with Parkinsons having an epileptic fit.
In general there’s a lot of running with the camera, which makes it look super shaky and there could be that old PAL vs NTSC thing going on with the Japanese footage, which might contribute.

It is Magenta though, so you know what you’re getting.

Jesus Christ, imagine slamming like that at that speed.

Bit handsy for me. Haha, I hope thats his real name.

Wait, there’s a guy who skates for Deluxe called Mack Scharff, and it’s not Max Schaff?

Scharff is the DLX filmer.

Reminds me of something I learnt yesterday: for a large part of their history, Built to Spill had a bassist called Brett Nelson and a guitarist called Brett Netson.

That filming style won’t make much of a difference if you watch a skate video on your phone, but it will quickly prove annoying on a projector or massive TV. The screen on which you’re supposed to view something has a big influence on how it’s created - IG vs Imax.

Palace filmer offcuts. Deftones are having a moment. Which feels a weird thing to say in 2022.
