Not sure I agree with that. You don’t think it might look and sound a bit, idk, Atlantic Drifty? I thought it has Jake Harris written all over it (love Jake Harris’ output). Maybe it’s just me
The shoes are what I expected. The moon boots can do one but the rest look good.
You know Jake Harris made it though right?
The sound in the first 20 secs was a dead giveaway,
I liked it.
I like the black shoes too.
Bit of Gino street footage.
Nice
My point exactly. That along with all the other trademark Jake Harris touches was precisely why I didn’t agree with it being all that ‘aesthetically different’.
I thought it was really good. Have given it a couple more rewatches since. He’ll probably get knocked for it but I like relatable level Gino.
ASICS thing was rad, hope they get Jacob Harris to continue the ASICS drift. I do like the way he cuts the audio and goes from music to diagetic sound. Thumbs up
Personally I wasn’t a fan. I’m just not into the stop/start style of video editing. It’s like once the video really starts to get into a nice flow, then it switches up to something completely different. Maybe that’s because of the Instagram generation and lack of attention spans but it’s not for me.
I think their logo is clumsy looking and ruins their shoes a bit.
Does anyone associate them more with goalkeeper gloves than shoes? Or is that just me?
Video was good but I don’t quite believe in their skate programme. Could see a Chrome Ball interview in 5 years time in which Chops asks Brent Atchley “What happened with Ascics back there? Seems you guys had a good thing going for a minute but it just fizzled out.”
Shay Sandiford seemed out of place and Brent atchley seems like a wild one to put money into as one of your legacy/semi legacy riders.
Not that I didn’t love that break out run of videos he had but after a 10 year hiatus from the spotlight, I’m not sure he’s the guy to help market a new shoe company.
Really enjoyed the video though. Akwasi and Emile complimented each other with they’re completely opposite approaches
Doesn’t look like they’re from the skate program, which is a shame, because they’re definitely more interesting than the actual
Shoe line up, which is pretty boring.
