The Continually Updated Footage Thread

Aussie vids are so much cooler than most shit from the States. Seems like a lot of stuff is filmed kinda spontaneously down there, happens during street sessions and everybody is so hyped when someone lands a banger. Much more inspiring than any hammer somebody needed 5 solo missions with a filmer to land in a schoolyard in California.

Just watched this again… One of my all time favourites, quite possibly in my top 10.
Fantastic yet relatable skating, the Cohen and Maus tunes, and Campbell’s editing… So good.

Internet Birthday was incred. Big up Geoff Campbell always.

Just stumbled across this - stay with it, don’t be a pussy.

Weird confession but the part I’ve watched in maybe a year.

Classic stunt man shit with a couple tribute tricks.

Enjoyed the pole jam.

Music was a cool nod to Gilffberg in Sorry.

I wish this sort of stuff was in the Olympics - off topic maybe, but anyone know why vert, likely the most normie accessible form of skating, isn’t in the Olympics? Presumably vert is dead in the contest circuit and bowl (park) is more accessible?

Tony Hawk wants it the LA Olympics (the next one). Saying as it’s the birth place of skating it should include them all. Even as a one off maybe.

Wilkins makes this look beautiful

Really liked this.

This Sewa footage is pretty fucking dope but I guess the sheer awkwardness of the interaction at 2.41 kind of summarises why he hasn’t gone further in the skate industry.

Along with unironically posting ‘raw clips’ filmed at MACBA

Now that’s a full length skate video.
Last part had to be a nod to old stereo videos.
