Same boat, having seen loads of clips of him killing it at jams and comps dare I say my expectations were higher. The hardflip (I love a hardflip) and the “line” with a 5-0 180 were particularly underwhelming.

Watched this last night. Normally anything Berrics/Cariuma related would be a hard pass but I was quite interested to see what Cody Cepeda was up to these days. Was actually surprised by how much I like it. Way too many manual pivots and obviously too many Cariuma logos but for me it had a bit more of a homie video, not trying too hard, vibe. Unlike the Joslin/Lazer banger-fest where I pretty much skipped straight to the front blunt ender.
dare I say, Cody Cepeda looks pretty good in this. The switch flip backtail was perfect, one of the best I have seen. Still get odd vibes from him though.
He must have just listened to all the negative comments and worked on it.
the shoes don’t actually bother me visually, no different to seeing an etnies E, they just signify such stink in everything else, marketing infiltration etc. BUT saying that, did they do anything different to Nike? well, yeah of course but it’s similar.
