I had this t-shirt in black:
Bit grim in retrospect.
I’ve got that board in the loft somewhere
Don’t kink shame… she’s somewhat smiling at least.
Had the t shirt and scored a pink version of the board about 10 years ago… Not a huge fan of it anymore either.
Pretty sure Fos hates that graphic as he never reposts any classic heroin stuff which references/includes it on insta.
Think there was also some rip off of it, where someone replaced the word Heroin with Urban of all things and sold a shed load of them. Which I think caused some headaches for him.
Yeah that’s fair!
I have two of these tees for sale talk to me
Forgive me for the hour long content but I was really sick (sick as in ill obvs) lately and decided to make a timeline of footage from our last vid.
I might be mistaken but I think that graphic was originally drawn by Fergus Purcell who also created the Palace ‘Triferg’ logo. I know he did a board graphic for them when Fos was still working for Slam.
Yeah that’s a Ferg graphic, I believe. I like it, still got the tee, tbh i think if you’re put off by a cartoon S&M lady and the word ‘heroin’ then perhaps you shouldn’t hang out in the outside world, there are plenty of crochet-based activities you can get into in your living room.
When Fos was first planning to move the brand to the US it was going to be via Black Box and Jamie Thomas wanted him to change the name from Heroin to Ruin, this almost happened but then it didn’t
I think you might be reading too much into that -why would he repost it, when he didn’t draw it, and he’s got decades worth of his own (quite popular) art/graphics to repost? He’s not going to post someone else’s art on his fosgraphics account, especially not something that’s already been stolen and used without permission
I meant on the main heroin account, rather than the personal one for his art.
Yeah I know, but just because he doesn’t post that one graphic from 19 years ago that he didnt draw, I wouldn’t take that to mean he hates it. It’s a bit irrelevant to his current heroin insta fanbase I think
His videos are fantastic, I regularly watch the older ones again. They’re really good for the soul.
Never seen him in the flesh but you can tell his board control is incredible. Oh and he has such a solid kickflip.
5 minutes of Chris Colbourn skating spots you haven’t seen before in a crusty neighborhood of Los Angeles. So much good stuff in this! Love Cookie.
That was amazing, Cookie has just the right amount of spicy tricks for me.
Wish Worble had made it to the U.K. before they stopped making boards
He just DMd me on instagram out of the blue to sell em some skate gear he must be reading this thread
The 5-0 triptych
Yes! That one definitely stood out.
