Those mini eggs are tiny and have v short nose and tail.
I highly recommend going into your local egg retailer and picking one out IRL

My mates 8.5 was pretty flat. We were just having this conversation - I miss working in or being able to go into a legit shop easily snd stand on 400 fucking skateboards and waste hours thinking and standing on shapes

Yeah, the paint only comes off where you paint on the stripper… you could create a real avant garde mess.
Got a VPN and managed to watch the Poets clip.
Editing is quite jarring, but I enjoyed it nonetheless. Didn’t expect to see Guy skating to Lit in 2025 but here we are. Yaje skating to Stone Roses and his switch back lip to 5-0 (is this right?) was fantastic.
All in all worth downloading the free VPN for.
I rode the Shimizu and it was ok but feels a lot smaller than 8.5". I haven’t ridden the others, but the 9.125" is the ‘standard’ egg and the 8.9" fried egg is probably the one I’d get next. If I hadn’t already sworn off riding another egg shaped deck that is.
I bumped into Mackey the other week on an early Sunday skatepark one. He was riding an 8.5 National egg type one. He was like I never thought Id skate one of these but once you get used to it was loving it.

I had the lil egg which was 7.9 fun enough.
Oh just to be clear I don’t know Mackey very well at all. But he’s always come across as a pinnacle human evey time I’ve met him. Just always the nicest friendliest person who always needs a hug. Lovely man.

I skated 4 or 5 Lovenskate 8.75 eggs (14 wheelbase) and they were great. Really good for cruising around, skating transition and even semitech ledge skating and manuals. I currently have a fair amount of shaped boards on ice but would totally skate more eggs. Gotta get one of Chico’s Bad Boys one day I suppose.

I have enjoyed riding them but I always end up complaining that the tail and nose are too small. I never step up to the 9.125" though I always ride the smaller ones.
Yeah if I went for a Big Boy I’d get the original shape, which is 8.75 or 8.875 as far as I know.
Can’t be spending money on a brand called Heroin. Fucking dumb name.
