Guys FF comeback was incredible but hasn’t ages well.

really pleased for Antwuan and he’s definitely got it back to a level where he left off. With where skating is right now and for me, especially with the types of spots, this part really lacked and felt boring, not particularly to do with him but mainly location. I’d like to see him take his style to some interesting places. A straight nollie heel flip even. as good as his just looks bland down a standard set, take it down an equally high but more awkward looking gap, over things or into things and it’d look incredible.

Part of me is impressed that these types of company are able to regenerate and find skaters willing to chuck themselves down things for product and, presumably, very little else. But this current iteration of the company and this video is also a simulacrum of ‘00s hammer skateboarding. eg. The video’s penultimate trick is a clear trade down on a Sandoval ender from yonks ago. Some terrible music in here (WTF is that Sandoval tune?!), but kind of rated the e-boy section set to the Lightening Seeds(?!). Bizarre to open with a team montage when the Nolan guy went in. Sandoval still rips. Billy Marks’ trousers are reeking.

A rule I generally stick to is that any film that has the word Rise in the title is 9/10 times going to be complete dogshit.
