Comeback part maybe but he’s never been good enough to win soty.
They always do that 30 skater list of contenders which is like a nod for putting out a good part. Maybe he’ll be on that.

Spanky has last part in Baker 4, I heard.
In all honesty, I think Milton will take it. Tiago and Suicu are incredible but just not really Thrasher ethos, y’know?
Spanky having the last part in Baker 4 is the worst news I’ve heard all year.
fifty down the rail, fifty up the rail at 2:16 was some goodness
deserves SOTY for the opening line alone. blistering speed and skill
baker vids on the whole are wank anyway
whaaaaaaaaa??
The slo mo switch tre with the gold deck
Just never appealled to me. I admit, Baker in more recent years is looking better.
He really is, came from nowhere with that boardslide cover as well.
Imagine being able to straight nollie over the back of a handrail
run up looks so horrible in that clip as well !
Damn. All time classics as far as I am concerned…Baker 2G and Baker 3 are all time and that promo a couple of years back was dope, too.
What the complete and utter fuck. He’s the best skateboarder on the planet.
Contender for best 360 flip ever in there too. That opening line is just…fucking hell. Unreal. Amazing.
It’s like trying to contemplate the size of the universe. It can’t be done.
I watched that part and thought, yeah pretty dope.
Then I watched it again and realised most of it was switch. Unreal
I doubt there’s a being in the other 200 trillion galaxies who could straight nollie 50 a handrail tbh
That entire part is death defying (as I expected and some)!! Will watch again later once my knees and ankles have recovered from the first viewing.
I shouted out loud when he nearly stumbled into that high speed train skating that ditch in SoCal.
Watching that I felt like a kid again; a clueless outsider witnessing some sort of otherworldly stuntsmanship that made skateboarding seem the coolest thing imaginable.
That’s not an emotion I’ve felt in years if not decades. As ridiculous as it is to say I “understand” most skateboarding, even though I can’t do it, but watching the speed and power with which a lot of those tricks were done was like it was something I was experiencing for the first time, a language I simply don’t know.
As much as I loved and got inspired by Suciu’s part, as a spectacle that was summat else. That was the epitome of what I, as a kid, considered “skateboarding.”
