Obviously going to be in the minority here but I actually expected more. It was fucking amazing and so gnarly but there were only a couple of things in there that I thought only Milton would be able to do.
However, in Suciu’s part it was full of shit that only he could probably do. I think I’d vote for Suciu although would prefer a Tiago win.

Gnarliest skating I can remember since Heath. I’ve never actually seen any footage of him before, only heard the name, but that part was mad. Think someone said similar above, but there was something about it that reminded me of watching skate vids as a kid, where everything is so gnarly you can’t actually understand how it’s done.

I still think Suciu’s part is still better overall. This was more dangerous, particularly the bits where he makes the GX1000 crew look cautious and that last kickflip of course, but Suciu’s was more difficult.
I don’t care who wins though. Whoever wins this year deserves it…2019 has been epic and we have the Baker vid to come.

Still preferred Suciu’s overall, but Miltons is the only other part I can see myself repeatedly watching.
Not to be a dick, but between Sucui and Milton, it sort of makes last year’s seem a bit insignificant…

Couple of things.
It was batshit crazy, so gnarly.
The first main song that was kinda slow was horrible.
I thought it was a bit cringe putting Phelps at the beginning of a part that was so clearly put out at this time in an attempt to win SOTY. I know they were probably friends but still.
I still preferred Suciu part on the whole.

I get the impression that it’s a foregone conclusion. I could be wrong but by the editing and the release on the thrasher site it looks like they’ve made up their mind.
Suciu and Tiago’s tech parts are the equal of Milton’s stuntman hammers though imho

Milton for SOTY, for sure. I prefer Suciu’s style of skating, but that section is undeniable! And not just a couple of gnarly tricks. 10 fucking minutes of them. 10 minutes!!

You can make anyone your SOTY or make no one a SOTY or accept Thrashers SOTY. It really doesn’t matter.
It’s kinda fun to argue about I guess but your opinion is as valid as anyone else’s.
Arguing about who’s the SOTY between these three is silly because it’s based on your preference.
They each represent the pinnacle of their own branch of skating right now I think.
You have:
Gnarly - supermilton. A total disregard for his own health and maybe even life.
Power - trivago lemons. He could probably nollie crook my forehead.
Finesse - sudoku. Swoon.
Which one floats your boat the most I guess?
It’s a dead heat between Tiago and Mark for me because I prefer tech over burl because I can vaguely relate to it more than stuntman skating. It’s not that Milton section didn’t get me hyped but it’s so crazy I cant understand it.
It’s a bumper year though.

Yeah, totally with you except for me, its between Tiago and Milton.
…but as always, we’ve got to remember this is Thrasher SOTY, not ours or anyone elses. They’ll pick the crew who went hardest (so, these three undeniably) but then also look at who fits their ethos, too.
As such, I can’t see how it wouldn’t be Milton.
Also, being that Jake died this year I think they will do all they can to pick the guy who Jake would have picked and get that bit right.
Of course, this is just, like…my opinion, maaan.
