My hobby is spending hours a week in padded rooms grappling with other blokes while Im wearing pyjamas or lycra trying to fuck up our ears, how weird do we want to make it?

Finished my first gundam. Still no idea what they are other than cool looking mechs. Fun to clip together and no painting.

They are dope.
My son has a few, they were sort of add-ons to his massive Transformers collection.

I’ve been getting into flying kites, it’s so rad

What kind of transformers? I have a big Masterpiece collection I was addicted to adding to through covid.

I just accumulate random crap from ebay

.

This one was from my uncle, dunno where he got it

I’d love a huge collection of really ordinary Matchbox/Hot Wheels. Cars I remember from my childhood and that sort of thing.

The first car I remember, my dad’s white Cavalier.

The car that we got when I was 6, blue mk6 Escort 16v with 5 spoke TSW softline wheels.

My best mate’s parents piss-coloured Fiat Bravo

My Grandad’s dog-dick red Nissan Sunny

My first car, mk2 Punto in silver

But I know that’s a seriously deep rabbit hole to go down, and it’s something my wife will absolutely not approve of.

It’s not junk, they’re vintage collectibles

So simple yet so vivid and evocative.

10/10 descriptiveness

Yeah a stock Matchbox/Hot Wheels version of my old cars would be nice. I’ve been looking for an 2001 Integra Type R for ages and was even looking when dragged into a B&M a couple of days ago. I have a 1998 one but it is modified.

I took a kite on the first date I had with my other half - plastic kids single line type - and that was a gateway into all sorts of other kites.

Sold my bigger power kites now but still enjoy a nice fly of my stunt kites.

I used to imagine the ‘wind window’ was a half pipe and fly accordingly.

What sort of kite do you have?

Great sign!

Unfortunately here on the continent (@franc should confirm) Lipton Tea is probably the worst substitute for a proper cup of tea but they stock it in all cafes and bars here.

On holiday I spotted some new Twinnings Tetley range…

Stoked I found a local shop that stocks PG tips!

I love those stickless stunt kites. Might have to get one for upcoming Suffolk trip.

Probably not the correct term, but the flying pillowcase / duvet style?

Also. Where you headed in Suffolk?

I could copy / paste this and delete the eBay bit - didn’t realise I could claim it as a hobby.

I’ve got a little suitcase filled with hot wheels, a little stash of other nostalgic toys and a shed full of other crazy crap.

Yeah bro had one as a kid, actually not sure it was a stunt kite but you could fly it in sod all wind
