What a lovely model. Well done!
I’ve been working on this gundam head a mate printed for me. The plan is to kitbash some kind of mechanical looking stand for and find some dudes to stand around in a little maintenance diorama. First time working with a 3d print and I’m enjoying it. Lots of rescribing, sanding and surface work as well as actually getting it to fit together properly. When it’s together I’ll decide whether to airbrush it for a cleaner look or hand paint it for a more weathered finish.
Back on my grind.
Tyrannid Prime with neural whip and a load of ravengers my son is going to slaughter my models with.
The twin lance. I could have gone into finer detail and I changed up the guns because flat dark grey as on the box looked whack.
Assembled a robot.
I’ve also been practicing smoother blends and glaze shading, like on the shin here.
Amazing primary colour use!
Finally had some time to throw some paint on some old Deathwing Terminators. Should have them done for the end of the week to go with the sergeant I finished last year.
They are lovely!
Cheers! I’m stuck in 1996. Everything is goblin green.
Sick! Some of the new orks from the upcoming boxset look pretty hefty!
Proper.
I’ve got such a pile to paint I’m starting to appreciate drybrushing and contrast paints ![]()
Cheers! Still loads to do but I’m pretty happy with the blue. I’ve never really committed to the full edge highlighting thing but it’s bloody good brush practice.
I have the vespid kill team and they are absolutely getting the dry brush/contrast treatment.
Did a private pottery throwing lesson with my GF. Now on eBay looking for a wheel. Oh dear.
