Candles. Mini mini candles…

You’re 3D printing pieces?

Where do you get the digital renders?

It’s 3d printed, but I bought the whole miniature off etsy.

Spent some time on this little guy last night.

Before and after… tried to tone down some over shading and pick out a few more details here and there. Not a stark contrast, but maybe took it from 60% done to 75% done. Still need to make the gun a bit better, and attempt to pick out the stitching on the jacket somehow.

Pretty much done with this.

Decided of some bloody pools and wing tips…

Another angle. Just waiting for rain to stop to add varnish and gloss.

Spent time on this guy over the last two days. About 80% done I reckon.

Finished!

I’m sure there were small things I could do to improve but I’m pretty stoked n what I acheived alone.

Next mission… One month to complete!?

What have I got myself into??

So sick man, really enjoying these posts

Ooh is that a separate/satellite banana bowl to prevent the fruit in the main bowl going bad?

I am excellent at starting things, and never finishing anything

Brought these guys on holiday to get some (reluctant) painting done. Deadline 14 March…

Progress sort of…

Not a fan of these little guys but it must be done first in order to complete the grander design. Might be mad but I feel like Old World models are smaller than regular 40k ones.

I don’t know if they are, but look at mono pose space marines versus the primaris ones. The newer ones feel huge in comparison

I understood GW were gradually bulking up all the ranges. Space Marines get first dibbs at the heretic supplements because they are the emperors favourites.

Been working on this sky lantern for a while now. Still plenty to go. Thank god I didnt stick it all together before painting.

I think the model is rad but all this detail is making me regret it.

This headline made me think Tyranids were on their way…

Finished with 24hrs to spare to spot any tiny blemishes…
