Yeah, really underused with just a few fleeting appearances. One thing I have learned during my descent into Star Wars model making trivia is that the Falcon was originally designed to be a bit like this in that it would take off and then fly on its side looking like a sunfish with the cockpit rotating round but they changed their minds, which was probably the right choice for that ship.
I’m guessing something like Ashokas ship
I watched a thing about model builders creating McQuarries original vision for the Falcon which eventually became the Blockade Runner.

I was drawn, like a moth to a flame, to all the Black Friday deals on 3d printers…
Now I have some nice places to store paint…

I had no intention of using mine for ‘toys’ etc, but I had a passing thought about finding & printing missing accessories for some old Star Wars figures and the next thing I know I’m printing R2’s.

Printed so far…
- The boat… because of course you have to.
- A pile of 28mm scale skulls.
- The paint stands for the pegboard
- Knock off Terminator action figure
- Lionel Messi chibi statue for my eldest
- Some Apple watch charger stands
- A One Piece skull and crossbones for my stepson for his wall at his dad’s house
Now currently trying to print out some more 28mm scale miniatures to see what quality I can get.
