The larpers would be stoked.
Pigs… Maybe pigs operating in gangs.
If only we could save the pigs and dispose the gammon.
EAT THE GAMMON.
There’s a pretty good argument to say satire and parody benefits those in power as a kind of release valve, if you’re laughing you’re not angry any more
( Re cassette boy)
Absolutely. And Johnson’s PR people knew that well from the beginning.
That image of him with the union jack flags on a high wire was that 100%. Memorable, patriotic, yet un- threatening and comic. And shared across the spectrum. That’s his brand. It worked.
He’s called Boris and he’s a bit silly. Let him get in with it. He’s not a nasty man. Let’s see what’s on the other channel.
Yup.
Reality is “He’s called Alexander Boris de Pfeffel Johnson and he’s incredibly cunning and astute at self-marketing an image he has created for himself which will sell-in. Do you want to let him get in with it? Because that sounds like a self-serving nasty man. Let’s keep an eye on this channel.”
Not that he has a fucking clue what he’s doing day by day anyway. This probably just means that the people who make the decisions and tell him what to say get some time to themselves.
Who are the people making the decisions? Actually, isn’t supposed to be his wife now?
Amazing! Fuck the bus.
