Got mine today. Banging issue. Cover is so sick, and exactly what I reckon should be on the cover of a skate mag these days too.

Yeah, alot of banks to walls. Alot more relatable than some hammers, but still rad pics and style coming through in them.

My wife has got a friend over today so I’ve ignored them and read most of it already.

So many females in this issue which is pretty dope. Ads and editorial.

What’s the cover? Mine hadn’t arrived before I left for Devon. Any heads round Brixham way? Going to Adam Moss’ pizza place in Newquay next week for me birthday.

EDIT: haven’t seen the man since BCN, not some death fan boy

Horsley’s photo of Nick Roberts’ wallride is one of the most beautiful things I’ve ever seen in a skateboard magazine. It’s… Perfect.

A newspaper photo editor would think that was just a photo of somebody skateboarding, shot from above.

Arrived today. Stoooked.

Really enjoyed this issue another amazing effort from all involved. Some nice touches like getting the skaters to describe the process of getting the trick in the London article. Good photos. Loads of local faces getting some shine. Awesome.

Also enjoyed Chris Jones’ Dykie stories. Dykie is running round the coast of Wales right now if anyone feels like following his progress or sponsoring him.

Current one (Jan 22) is good so far. The two articles I’ve read so far have both mentioned places I’m familiar with. I don’t notice that very often and (as it turns out) I’m easily pleased.

The DC tour. - Norwich & Ipswich. ‘We’ used to get the bus in to Ippo on quiet Sundays (before Sunday trading laws changed… and this was all fields) to skate a few spots.

Manufacture. - Ipswich & Framlingham. I grew up around Fram and the (smallest bank in the corner of the) skatepark is a regular spot for me these days.

It’s also where they filmed parts of Forum Favourite, The Detectorists.

I’ve been grazing a little more on Jan 22 and Felix’s Consultation is a good read too.

“Focus on what you can do, and not what you can’t”

“I find the acceptance that there will be times when skating must take a back seat due to a variety of reasons, really helpful”

He seems like a wise man.

My sub ends with this one… must renew.

I always miss getting a free copy with a board or whatever, then end up spending £7.50 on a copy from TSC direct

I’ll probably have to do this again with the current issue.

Yup, +1

LA’s Inauguration bit too. :raised_hands:

Keen for a read of The National piece. I don’t know that much about them and feel that I should.

I sat down today and read it cover to cover. I too loved the vert article and TNSC article.

Every issue so far is so good. Zero filler.

Some cool photos and a little write up of the Lizzie Armanto Vans thing at Nowick’s ramp.
Click on pic below to see the rest.
Cool to see the new breed of female vert rippers in there too.
