Winning with a century. Dreamland.
Both players’ mentalities were incredible. For Selby to be able to put that much pressure on, and for Luca to sit and watch three frames without scoring a point then come back to win. Whole tournament has been stellar.
Yeah, normally at that stage it all gets nervy and both players start being super cautious but there was none of that. Great stuff.
Really need to start watching snooker again. I don’t know who the fuck half the people are anymore.
Still got my dads Alex Higgins cue.
I wish it was easier to watch snooker in Australia. Miss the days of getting home from school, and seeing snooker on bbc2 and then next thing you know you’ve sat there for a couple of hours.
That has to have been one of the most ridiculously good tournaments ever.
Final frame decider in the Milkins vs. Thepchaiya Un-Nooh match on the red button.
Oh sweet, going to catch the highlights.
Nice to see Ding winning the frame after that kick he had. Final frame decider then.
Edit: Ding’s 94% pot success was incredible.
Ding is having a bangin’ evening session. Id love to see a Trump/osullivan final but its defo not a given.
Ding going very well!
That was ice cold.
Wow a Ding fistbump. Rare.
Lovely
Yes I remember that vividly, so wholesome and even in this interview now you can see he’s grown so much.
So rad, in the post match interview Ding mentions that Ronnie is his sons hero
Should be a great final.
I’m a Ronnie superfan but I’d be happy to see Ding win.
For me it’s really close between him and Virgo but Virgo just takes it.
Yeah, Murphy is awful but I just find Virgo’s commentary absolutely terrible, never seems to say anything insightful (or funny for that matter) and they always wheel him out for the final like he’s some legend. Plus he’s probably still mates with Jim Davidson.
