One thing I noticed from the '85 final was everyone in the crowd wore their Sunday best to the final.
It looked absolutely class and made it look like a really big, proper important event.
They should bring that back.
My Grandad Solly was a trainer and involved in it in the Midlands. Alex Higgins would stay at my nan and grandads when he had games in birmingham etc but my nan kicked him out for trying to bring women back. Watching the long Embassy’s and the Bensons were massive events.
