Yeah. I can see both sides, if you’re Ron and been playing that way into your 50’s and are that much of a perfectionist you might not want to change. It’s becoming so much of an issue now though that it’s probably more distracting for him to keep doing it.

He does seem to have things like that get in his head. Like his constant cue and tip woes that others don’t seem to have to the same extent.

It will be cool to have Ronnie on table one in the quarters of the seniors on Friday.
I use Taom chalk and honestly, I don’t think I like it. I use it because it cost 15 quid and i’m willing myself to like it. But, the other chalks do leave the table messy.

Went to a qualifiers once in Barnsley and Ding was with his wife/girlfriend in the carpark sitting in a 2 fast 2 furious BMW M4 with all the trimmings and she was head to toe in high end designer gear but the unfashionable kind with mixed logos all over the place.
Not sure why I found this amusing but I did.

Seniors quarter finals last night. Could pretty much see all 4 games as the screen divider was small.
Peter Lines was playing amazing, second best performance of the lot but christ Ronnie was on it. Missed a few but he just glided. The pockets looked tight and unforgiving for everyone but as soon as he was on the table the pockets swooned and opened up in anticipation. Crazy to watch.
