Hell yeah @Frasersnacks your pics make me happy too!
Today went to the Intrepid museum on the aircraft carrier with the submarine. They took my board in at security and had to pick it up after security guy was like thats a really.nice board by the way…. Clearly a Dick Rizzo fan.
Then met up with my mate from home who skates haven’t seen in 10 years or so went and very badly skated the banks and LES park my legs are fucked from walking so much no energy. It super humid still but it just rained. I’m fully not complaining. Bit of dumbo
Just worked it out at the banks Sam Muller had just shot Antonio Durao on the stairs/rail on the left the light were still set up. Didnt get a selfie….
As soon as I see those stairs I think of Harold Hunter - switch 180 up, nollie heel down.
Absolutely totally why I shot the photo.
Rained last night/this morning. Went MoMA found a spot went to a park. Filmed a line for a homies video at a street spot.
Vicarious stoke is strong ![]()
looks like an amazing trip. Keep the pics and descriptions coming.
Waiting for flight at the moment.
Last spot of the trip was here.
Seemed a good place to close it out.
Heading to Scotland on Monday to Arran for a week or so.
Thinking will most likely go through to Glasgow for a skate at some point. Assuming the weather will be shit is the Loading Bay my best bet or are there other options for a daytime skate on a weekday ?
Also if anyone on here is from around there and fancies a skate give me a message.
Also any recommended non skate stuff to check out on a day trip to Glasgow would also be appreciated.
Thanks
Anyone been to Sri Lanka?
I have, a long time ago, I think like a year before the big Tsunami. It was also before the end of the war so it was recommended that you stayed in areas under government control. It’s an absolutely beautiful place and small enough that travelling around is pretty easy. I did it as a backpacker so pretty low budget, no idea what prices are like now.
