I’m due a top up on Tee’s. Just ordered a single one of these as a trial.

I spend way too much time researching plane Ts. I’ve tried most of the recommended ones on here. Currently I have Russel Athletic super heavyweight for chilling round the house, and Norse Project Niels Ts for date nights, etc. just trying to crack something that’s in between. Thanks for the suggestions though. Carhartt is a good shout. I’ve got a Carhartt Chase plane T from about 10 years ago that’s still going strong.

Levi’s skate plain tees when on sale, probably mid weight which is nice.

Hang on this is trouser thread :joy:

I remember a suburban bliss tee I had was perfect fit for me, so I spoke to Toby who said he got them made in India, unfortunately they weren’t an off the peg thing. So carefully took measurements of it and did exactly nothing with them.

Great story.

Until I got onto the kirklands.

I’m genuinely thinking of buying a second hand sewing machine and learning to hem, because what I want in a T-shirt clearly doesn’t exist.

I want a boxy fit, in a heavier weight, 100% cotton (preferably organic) - similar to the Uniqlo Airism T-shirt in shape but with an inch off the sleeves and a length that ends just below my hip.

Have you tried anything by Merz B Shwanen? They’re meant to be perfect but I could only afford like 1 a year.

I don’t get that boxy fit trend at all. Looks like fucking crop tops for men to me. I suppose thinking or at least saying this makes me a boomer. Oh well.

I’ve note heard of them, look good but that’s a lot more than I’m looking to pay. For a while there was a company called Forge, I think they were out of Sheffield, and they’d make their own fabric. They did a good fitting T in 300-350 gsm. I still have a couple but I think they went out of business. Part of the trick is finding a company that is just going to continue to make the same fit T consistently. I’m looking for similar to you but I’m also overly concerned about the neck. Needs to have a study, slightly chunky ribbed neck. Once the neck starts to go it’s done for me.

Anyone tried Tom Asta’s cargo trousers? I’d like to but can’t justify spending 100eur on na single pair of cargos. SXhame because he sells out in 24hrs usually.

I doubt anyone has on here. Maybe try over at Slap?
