The TV Thread

Nah they didn’t have the serve window open, they just had to get certified (that was in the last episode). Jimmy tells him about the exam.

Oh and Jimmys dessert in the bear the chocolate banana, what was that reference?

Carmen, loved it. Reminded me a lot of myself haha not the job but actions and shutting himself away. Claire needed a bit more, Marcus was dope when you see his phone in the last episode I fucking lost it haha :cry::cry:

I loved Syd, the heart rub when they say sorry to calm down I’m gunna start using that.

Richie was my favourite.

Is there a season 3 coming.

The Bear was great. That other kitchen one (with Stephen Graham) was basically like being put under extreme stress for “entertainment”.

Sorry, Stephen Graham, Boiling Point :man_facepalming:

Just blitzed series called Katla.
Was waiting for it to turn out terrible each episode but it just kept me in enough to think I actually enjoyed it by the end. It had potential to just flip to sillyness where you just say “fuck off!” and turn it off but stayed the right side of it.

Top review, i’m sure loads of you will watch based on that

Past couple of weeks, I dipped into Loudermilk, 3 Ep’s in and not laughed once.
I’m not hating it by any means but it’s not particularly funny.
Not sure why I feel I need to point that out.

I had a similar feeling but with season 2 onwards. First season was interesting and sort of amusing but then it really fell off.

Maybe stick to Mrs Browns Boys if you didn’t find loudermilk funny

Or maybe it’s just funny if you’re not a bit of a Michael Fabricant

OOF wow.
I would respond cuttingly but you know who you are so fill it in yourself.

I’m not calling you a Michael Fabricant, the opposite. I’m saying maybe it’s only funny if you can relate to the characters.

I do wonder why someone wouldn’t find it funny though, which is why I said stick to Mrs Brown’s Boys

Haha maybe you’re not enough of a Brian either

It’s funnier if you’ve been in those rooms I guess

I think the situ is irrelevant, swap it for anything and the actual jokes are still generic. Weirdly, it’s in between and so much closer to Mrs Brown’s Boys to even a titter from me.

Out of interest what do you find funny?

Not much if i’m truly honest.

I cried like a child at the end of season 1, but we had just lost the dog so I wasn’t in the best of places.

I’ve not got to a place yet where I can face season 2

The documentary is pretty good, total scam artist who thought a bit of lippy and a deep voice made up for the failings of their “invention”

I still can’t believe how many people she had fooled. I’ll probably give that a watch.

That whole series is fucking amazing.
Watched it when it came out and again late last year.

Julia Davis is so dark. Always.
