Went on a wild goose chase around the Pentland countryside looking for a BoC Red Moon party many (red) moons ago. Had the location/time/date on decent authority thanks to a mate who worked for Warp. Needless to say fuck all transpired, apart from meeting a small bunch of other disappointed people sat in a field waiting for something to happen whilst listening to BoC on a boombox

I have done a few fake things over the years just to experiment with how people react and how silly people get with finding their own narrative. The “it’s this year I can feel it” thing has been going on for years now all based on the tinyest of ideas. BoC have backed themselves into a corner with their presence. Anything they do is analysed so intensely.

Late to the party as usual when it comes to tv stuff but I just finished watching Ozark and really liked it. Loved that it was set in Missouri as I went there one summer when a mate lived there for a while. Good soundtrack, good old school rap. Some of those Ruth Langmore quotes are pure gold too.

I do enjoy a Netflix crime documentary, add to that a bit of Cyber/Social Engineering and I’m in.
This though, 10 minutes into the first episode and all I can think is how immensely stupid some people are when their whole lives revolve around compliments from strangers - Not saying what the perpetrator is doing is right in any way, but jesus, use the Block option on your phone just once
I get all the way to the final episode of True Detective and just switched it off halfway through. realised I just didn’t give a shit about any of the characters and story.
A shame as it was so promising.
