I’ve got mixed emotions about it. Enjoyed the season right up until the end. A little disappointed with the ending but then again I wasn’t sure what to expect.
What was the point of Mook? She seemed sketchy to me the whole season and I assumed there would be a reason why but there wasn’t. Maybe she was just a bitch?

Yeah huge K-pop star. I didn’t want it to be the case but it seems like the like was the only reason she was in it.
Yeah I thought she would be developed more but I felt like she was there to be the temptation for Gaitok to go against his gut instincts (which felt like a theme for a lot of characters) and shoot someone and get the ‘good’ bodyguard job which I didn’t feel like he was truly happy with but did it to get the girl.
I think the fact she’s a mega K popstar probably meant she wasn’t ever going to have any sort gnarly story line and did feel a bit like her agent blagged the role for her as a leap frog into international acting
In other TV news……
I was suggested Yellowstone by a few people and since it came up on Netflix I thought I’d give it a go. What a fucking load of tripe. The storylines are boring and repetitive, the acting is horrible and as usual with all these types of American tv shows….all the women are stereotypical good looking blonde women who can’t resist the men. Can’t believe my dad actually recommended this show to me 
It was chin stroking style over substance wank. A load of shit that went from point A to point A at 0mph.
The other 2 at least had stuff happening every now and then.
We kept waiting for storylines to actually go anywhere…anywhere at all.
What was there to like about it? The cutaway shots of monkeys?
It was fuck all to look at for 8 and half miserable hours.
TBH When I put it on and saw it was an hour and half long after dragging itself over 7 painful episodes it put me on edge from the get go.
I think I’m cross at it because it could be good. They just forgot to put stuff in it.
Absolute fucking toilet.
Second series was definitely better but still really enjoyed this.
I think it’s easy to get too hung up on big stuff ‘happening’ based off the opening shot in each season, to me they’re merely framing devices for a load of great characters and interactions which this had loads of. Nearly every major character had growth and development. The way it ended synced up nicely with the monks speech at the start of the final episode and was way better than everyone getting their big season ending ‘moment’

Great rant. Not even watched it but I think you’ve summed up quite a few recent tv shows there.
I know none of us will watch it and I shouldn’t even know this information but thought it would be remiss of me not to announce to you all that Michael Fabricant will be entering the big brother house.

Re thaf last one laughing, it’s just too vague, format isn’t tight enough. Bits felt very unfunny and forced. Can’t see it running for long
I think the premise is flawed, well, at least for me. I find that if people are straight faced then something doesn’t seem as funny. Comedy without people finding it funny is just a chat. I rarely lol at things anyway but barely cracked a smile throughout the whole show.

I liked it but for me the whole thing was carried by Bob. Not sure I’d have stuck with it otherwise.
