The TV Thread

After the first 20 they get very formulaic and the last few have got quite silly. Maybe because you work out he never seems to age or weaken. Even the Bond films made nods to 007 getting older/the world moving on. Worth checking which ones got the best reviews and swerve the rest.

He’s like the human equivalent of The Hulk but with brains and skills. If The Hulk kept Bruce Banners smarts say.

Just put this music over Reacher’s end credits to the series and be done with it.

This used to make me cry when I was a young ‘un.

Smashed all of ‘this is going to hurt’ on the iplayer. Fine line between funny, heartbreaking and soppy. But really great.
Fuck being a doctor mind.

Very underwhelmed by The Curse

It is hauntingly sad, should of also added Reacher was very enjoyable as well.

I think it was on on a Sunday tea time too - which didn’t help. School tomorrow and all that!

There was a brief phase where I had to watch The Littlest Hobo followed by Hulk, while the Sunday night dread kicked in. Emotionally exhausted by bedtime.

I’m having a flashback to a TV series (possibly Little & Large) ending on a Sunday and me having an absolute teary breakdown when they were saying goodbye.

It was really hard to drive home through the tears.

Enjoying the new Fresh Prince, It would seem like a poisoned chalice trying to do any version of the much loved original but they’re managing to do a good job so far. It’s definitely not a PG family friendly show like we are used too. The Banks family dynamics actually make more sense with Hilary seeming to be the cousin Will gets on with them most instead of the much younger Ashley, who he hung-out with a lot at the start of the original. It’s also weird not liking Carlton (but he wasn’t the loveable guy he turned out to be from the get go in the original too but he wasn’t this unlikeable as well).

Wait what? New Fresh Prince???

What the fuck that looks absolutely fucking terrible.

Yeah the trailer is terribly put together.

I’m quite excited for it. It looks pretty heavy, always thought the episodes with heavy themes were the best ones.

Is it funny?

It has comedic moments but it’s not a sitcom.

Bit of an old one but watched Tales from the Loop this week. Enjoyed it, but sad. Would like to see a second series but it might just be better as a one off.

I’ve just started to dive into it, finished the third episode last night.

It’s absolutely brilliant so far. They know exactly how to pull on every emotion.

Been watching 2 shows about scammers: the Tinder Swindler and The Invention of Anna. Amazing that there are people actually like this.

Someone sent me a meme about how Anna and the tinder swindler should hook up and have their own show.
The Anna one was alright but was really saved by the curly haired girl off ozarks. She is just an amazing actress.
