Personally I thought the newer ones were ok, it can get a bit formulaic but theyre easy enough to read
Apparently Reacher is based by the author on the physique/look of Lawrence Dallaglio at his playing peak, which gives you an idea of what he was going for. Not a gym/roid head as such, just a naturally huge person. (CMOAC klaxon) I had dinner with him about ten years ago. I made the mistake of getting into the bench first, sat nearest the wall and he slid on to bench next to me and it was like trying to eat your tea squashed next to a double wardrobe. His hands were the same size as the plate. Nice bloke though.

Last episode of series two = I really liked the Dark Troopers. Terminator vibes!
And to avoid spoilers to anyone slower on the uptake than me…
I had a feeling that the Jedi to turn up would be Luke, the excitement around this episode meant it had to be a biggie. That’s my own fault for not keeping up.
The CGI stuff they use to bring the old characters back to life freaks me out a little bit - Tarkin / Leia & now Luke.
When I started watching I would hate ‘Baby Yoda’, but in the end he made me lol more than the Grumpy Dad in me wanted.

Yeah I’d much prefer that they just recast original characters, the CGI stuff is technically impressive but still more than a bit off.

Rad, Yeah the CGI was off but they are using DeepFake from now on, which I personally think looks 100% better. Getting to see Luke in his prime is amazing! … we are still spamming this thread up, oops. Sorry everyone, we’ll stick the the Star Wars thread from now on.

Didn’t really enjoy that new Louis Theroux too much, just felt like he was following idiots around and it didn’t really get anywhere. The best part was the guy who had a tantrum whilst wearing a Louis Theroux t-shirt.
