I got to hang with Carroll, Rick Howard, Biebel and Koston one time. MC, Howard and young Beebs all super cool and fun to be around. Koston on the other hand came over as self important, rude and up himself. Left me thinking he was a dick. Mind you his behaviour had me blanking him before he inevitably blanked me. I think that might have got his back up.
To be fair though we all have our off days. So I’m not saying Koston is a dick, just at that particular time he was a dick. I mean, young Beibel was cool and look at him now.

I like Koston up until Fully Flared. Even the Swongo.
Even back then I remember defending him as he had his detractors. I just felt like the “look how much fun I am” after that was very contrived.

It was a big deal because that bank was incredibly steep. Plus it was the only trick Shipman got on film the whole tour, which I as I understand he mostly spent shitfaced drunk. He’d been kicked out of America and basically missed out on his entire career, which back then only lasted a few years, and I think he’d just become jaded and basically wasn’t skating comparatively. And was kicked off the team immediately thereafter. As far as I remember anyway.

Everyone is allowed an opinion, doesn’t mean they’re not wrong wrong wrong. I imagine if you were watching mouse or video days for the first time in 2020 you just wouldn’t get it because they’re not ghetto birding the lyon 25

I don’t like most fisheye filming, especially on big rails, gaps.
I hate when the start with a long shot, and then cut to some super low fisheye angle for the trick. I want to see it from that first angle!
