No i think you’re right. Might watch a ‘what I wished I knew’ type video. I think I’ll just get more out of it.
I picked it up in bed last night and thought I’d give it 15 mins or so.
2.5 hours later…
Enemies are getting biggerer and scarier. I’m getting a little better at combat but still can’t stop mashing the special move/bomb button in a panic. I still suck but sucking slightly less each time.
I killed my first mob with the magnet + huge metal block combo which was satisfying as fuck.
I hate the skeletons that come out at night and any enemy that throws shit at me.
My RPG brain can’t make me go passed enemies without fighting them even though there’s nothing stopping me sneaking by.
In short…yes I’m REALLY enjoying it. All that’s holding me back is how bad I am at these types of games. Sat in my office now without my switch and genuinely a bit gutted.
Took out a camp with 3 silver goblin things carrying massive clubs that one hit me if they hit me this morning. Set off some bombs and popped them with arrows. Now I’m tooled up to the gills.
It’s taken me so long but i can nearly remember the controls.
This game is just incredible. I’m just generally wandering about with no objective at all and loving it now.
Don’t sell any ancient parts because you’ll want them later. If you need rupees find the snow bowling game as you can get a strike every time and make 300 rupees a go.

If you (or anyone you know) is an experienced graphic designer or equivalent artist with an interest in making games it might be up your/their alley: Multiplayer Group
I’m nearing the end and trying to find as many side quests as possible to long the game out. I forgot sooo much of this game despite playing it so many times
