Video Games

Mine was glitching but I’m out for 4 days.

Best game ever

Apologies if it’s been mentioned already but had a quick search and couldn’t see anything.

Does anyone here own a steam deck? And if so, what’s the verdict?

Milly credits thanks!

I’ve got a Rog Ally X and it’s awesome. I’ve set it up with emu deck so I’ve got loads of PS1, PS2 GameCube games on there. It’ll emulate PS3 as well and play steam games as well.

Haven’t heard of that before but looks good/more manageable cost!

I played a bit of Bomberman with my lad last night. I felt really bad as he asked, I said I’ll play in 15 mins then fell asleep for an hour. I was supposed to go skating but was tired and thought actually spending time with my son may be nice.

Loved Bomberman 30 years ago, found it really…boring, 8 player so a lot going on and even on a large TV hard to keep track of what’s going on. I am officially an old twat.

Absolutely love bomberman. Beautiful simplicity.

Might dig that out and play my son today. Get him off pokemon for 2 minutes.

8 player sounds bit much! 4 player is the best.

What was Bomberman I don’t remember it.

Don’t make him stop playing Pokémon!

It was fucking mental

A brilliant 4 player game. Anyone can pick it up and play it.

You see thats what we played on Mega Drive haha.

The grid my lad had up last night was huge, maybe 6x the OG one size on a 75" TV. I think it was actually 16 player, not 8. But mad hectic nontheless.

I prefer something more mellow these days

I had super bomber man on snes and a pal across the street had a multitap. There were some legendary tournaments at my house in the early 90’s.

Not long back I ended up at a gaming bar in Newcastle on a stag do (1up?) where I replayed it for the first time in nearly 30 years. I forgot how satisfying it was punching a bomb through the other side of the map.

My Son is 17 now so I lost him as a gaming companion a while back - can’t keep up with all the buttons.

I had a few sick days this week and downloaded a demo (Crossy Road Hotel) for Switch.

Found my current gaming level for sure..

Emulating Pokémon Fire Red on my phone. I only ever played the original game and the remake is like my fond memories of Pokémon but real. It’s wonderful.

Am I missing something? If I subscribe for £2.92 a month to the switch online + expansion pack do I really get pretty much everything released for the nes, snes, game boy and n64?

Nintendo website looks like that’s it, cut and dry.

My same brain that got a n64 in the 90s can’t allow life to be this good. I must be misunderstanding something?

Not everything but probably 90% of the classic Nintendo first party stuff with some random other third party stuff in there as well. You get Mega Drive with the expansion pack too and Gamecube if you have a Switch 2, it’s pretty great

There are some good ones on there, but also alot of pants stuff from data east.

Not the whole library but a nice selection.
