If you can get a 3DS and a half decent sized memory card you could get every old gen nintendo game forever for no pounds a month.

I can sort you out. Got a few of the sd card readers

Ah nice! cheers.

Yeah no worries. I’ll find the link on how to do it later. It’s a bit of a process but once it’s done it’s amazing.

It requires a laptop and following quite a few steps. It’s not that hard though from what i remember as long as you follow the steps carefully.

There’s tons of videos to follow on YT but make sure they are as up to date as possible.

There’s a thing called h shop which is a way of downloading every single 3DS game direct on the device without needing to find and install roms separately.

I have a 256gb card which can hold every 3DS game you would actually want to play, pretty much the entire DS library/SNES game along with loads of mega drive games etc.

You need the new 3DS to emulate the PS1 though.

Close to 300 hours on Arc Raiders now

Is Session any good? It’s on the Switch and I want to get the kids into it so I don’t have to play Sonic all the time

Its really good and really satisfying to skate around, and has a much better ‘feel’ than the old Tony Hawk or Skate games but it only lasts about an hour before it becomes boring and repetitive. I reckon it would be perfect for sitting there all evening blazing weed but as a proper computer game its a bit dull.

I reckon it would be a bit shit on the switch between the performance and lack of pressure sensitive triggers (kinda important for accurate turning.)

It can feel a bit slow at times on a gaming PC.

It’s not too bad if you don’t have it on other consoles to compare.

I’m a very casual gamer and pick it up for a go every now and then. It’s probably excellent on a higher spec machine and you’ve learned the controls.

I really like it, it seems like a labour of love too, the devs are clearly into skating and always working on it.

Had to have a quick go after reading this.

My son just told me he’s giving up and he said it’s even harder than Ecco The Dolphin!

Pain is trying to play it on the spectrum zx. I remember being stoked to fire it up then spending the better part of an hour trying to put the anti piracy code in and not having a clue (I was 5), with the help of my mum I finally get to play and instantly die only to be sent back to the code screen again, looking back I probably got more enjoyment from the free pack of panini stickers and transfer tattoos that was bundled in it.

Edit give him a go on Turtles in time for the snes. Much better.

I’ve been replying Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order the last few weeks. What a fucking game!. Gameplay is bang on, the plot is fantastic and the visuals are stunning. Will replay Jedi Survivor once I’ve fully finished this. Really hoping they do a third title in the series!

Went to Manchester science museum last week and they have a video game exhibition on. Over 100 different consoles to play on. I spent over 2 hours on Manic Miner
