Really looking forward to the Winter Olympics.
In a lot of ways I prefer it over the summer games because most events are more spectacular by their nature.
Plus we have the gentle drama of curling to look forward to.

I’m a big fan, especially as I got to see the skeleton back in 2018.
GB are in the curling on Wednesday so that’ll be a good way to start!

This is why I love it too. Yeah running in a straight line really fast is impressive, but fucking down a mountain of ice as fast as possible on a tea tray, where the consequences for going wrong are truly dire, is almost the purest form of pushing humans as far as they can possibly go. It’s the Olympic endeavour stretched to its limit.

Bit of curling, currently on some downhill skiing.
Dudes clearing 2.5mi course in under 2 mins at speeds averaging 125kmh with a 60m jump… good stuff!
Swiss dude just hit 140kmh and took 1st position in the standing. Damn
Drone shots are rad too. Buzzing sound maked skier sound like F1 though.

They’re not saying how many peope are left in the downhill which is really annoying. I want to know if i can switch over to the slopestyle.
Downhill is just mad. 90mph on skis.
