Obviously everyone is aware the technical standard isn’t as high in women’s skating yet, for a myriad of reasons, but this is more important in terms of representation and exposure.

I was aiming at you, but then in general at the end of my comment. Maybe you should have thought about your timing a little. This was the first game and your comment reads as a direct diss at the quality. If a game in particular is boring to you then at least express that when we’re a good way in to the comp when you have seen a better representation of what the levels are. What if no other game shows anything more interesting to you? You have basically expressed your dislike of all the skating from these people from the get go.

I couldn’t see anything “lackluster” in either of these games because i’m not looking to see if they are going to do any tricks that would beat a male in a game. I would normally agree, but I like it when you discover new skaters through it. So for me the women’s one is better than the men’s because some of them are interesting and not just trickbots.
I really enjoyed watching the first 2 games. They looked fun and having not watch a lot of these girls skate much before I don’t know who’s going to pull what out of the bag! I never went into watching these expecting the most gnarly and ridiculous tricks at the highest level. It’s just a game of skate.
Was stoked to see Lacey Baker skate. Was less into the one doing all the pressure flips, but I guess some people specialise in certain tricks.
I think the women went in for the kill a lot more than the mens, so far. It didn’t seem like they went through the pleasantries of building up from the basics, haha.
