Any Old Guys

Car parks are the best

Skateparks are a young man’s game these days, I always find the kids are flying around with no skatepark etiquette, I hate waiting for a turn ha !

No no you’re doing it wrong. Barge away!

probably end up worse off haha

I think of car parks pretty happily to be honest, used to have some of the most productive skates and loads of laughs with mates. Home made jump ramps, grind boxes, and rails too!

fuck let’s just rename this forum “car park lovers”. wait, no, we’ll get loads of random doggers turn up

anyway. can confirm i skate a car park nearly every day, the stoke is real. @JibJibonee we used to have this abandoned car park in West London where we built a fairly decent DIY. memories etc.

Yes carparks!!!

We have a couple of decent carparks our way, much rather shred them than a skatepark anyday, I’ll go to a park but it has to be a crap one, I was referring to the new parks that pop up everywhere in previous post there the ones filled with kids with no etiquette.

You have the UG in Farnbro as your icon, so that’s legit. I skated there when it first got built, for about 15 years. Try to skate every time I go back to visit family. There’s almost nothing there and it’s amazing. 44 years old and I drive 4 hours to go skate that place, in a heartbeat.

Guess I’m the youngest so far. 28, try and skate once a week with my daughter. Mainly involves me watching her use ramps as slides (she’s 3). And I can’t really skate at the moment having knackered my knee and found out it’s bursitis

yeah believe I’ve met you once in there actually chas, we still skate it alot!!! Although there is an abundance of boy racers who seem to have taken it over recently, Still lots of fun though.

The Showcase cinema carpark in Bristol with the curb into a bank is a prime dogging spot for one couple in particular. I skate there most weekends for 10 years or so and every few weeks, this couple would show up and park down near the bank, away from literally everybody and everything, except skaters. The lady gets out the car, piles into the back of the man’s red van, slides the door shut, then goes at it for a while. Not so much dogging for this pair, more an affair. The odd time you’d see gay guys meet there for some how’s-your-father in the back of their mum’s Micra, other times boy racers would be trying to entertain the females on the back seat.

45 here and I no longer have a six-pack, but still skating regularly though!

Never really understood the love for car parks. I put it down to not being able to slappy very well. I’ve always Ollied into curbs. When I was younger the guys who couldn’t Ollie slappied

Sure, they’re somewhere to go, more-so now to meet the old gadgies though. I find them a little bit boring.

Virgin though Ron? Solid car park that.

Upper Virgin now Ned.

Just a bit boring. For a bit there was a few extra obstacles, a jersey barrier, couple of kickers and a rail, was defo a bit more spicy but they’ve gone (well they’re at Dev now).

Also pushing around is hard work. I wanna roll in and pump and pop etc etc

Yer mate I hear ya!

I can’t be bothered to push these days. Shredding recently mate! Killing it.

You know if there will be Into The Void DVDs soon?

ITV is at the duplicators so I guess it’ll be released soon. Thanks buddy.

Since my mum passed I’ve been determined to get a clip every day i’m skating that I’m stoked on.
