I recently built a small quarter pipe for my kids in our garage - had no idea what I was doing and kept screwing it up (first attempt was more like a vertical ramp that nearly sent my son through the roof). I tried reaching out to the skater community to get someone around to try out my latest attempt to see what I was doing wrong⌠strangely could find a guinea pig to test itâŚ
So I thought âbugger it how hard could this skateboarding stuff beâ⌠famous last words when looking down a âdrop inâ having no idea what I was doing lol
I remember the basics from watching the lessons my son took several years-a-go and gave it a tryâŚ
Holy sh@t Iâm addicted - what a rush⌠Iâve learnt drop in, some carving and a couple of accidental rock-to-fakeyâsâŚ
Now all I want to do is go to an indoor skate park and try that on for size⌠(damn UK weather rules out local parks).
Anyone know of any indoor parks near Colchester Essex???

Not anymore mate since Area 25 in Ipswich closed,theres still some decent parks in the area.
Wasnât there something in Burwell, Cambridgeshire? Or is that too far? Ask Rob Salmon via his Insta, heâll know.
