Woof! Good luck mate . Will buy an extra lotto ticket tomorrow
I like this!
My missus had an orange one of those, the Ginger Jeep. Liked it, good little cars.
Aluminium chassis, so no rust…!
2006 so it’s newer than my last car and I’ve read that they sorted out a few issues on them in 2004 so hopefully it’ll be reliable. Love the colour of that C55 and yes, that size engine is huge for that size of car!
Makes absolute sense now
Quote from Toyota for a tow hook for the RAV4 - 1k!
Seriously, fuck off
I know it’s more than just a pretty rough hook made of metal that just hangs off the back of the car, but over a grand?!? For a rough hook made of metal that just hangs off the back of the car?!?!
Got another quote, 450EUR fitted. Bit better, but I was thinking like 200 and done. 2nd hand are non existent
1k is preposterous.
I haven’t posted here in ages, I bust my Mazda last year.
Fitted a clutch slave cylinder, got excited and did some doughnuts with a cold engine (I know).
So I’ve got a rattle from 3.5 to 4k, suspected bottom end bearing on cylinder 4. No rattle with that lead pulled.
Its been sat feeling sorry for its self all winter, but I just picked up a free engine from a mate.
Cant be that hard to fit right?
£700 recently for a caliper, rear discs and pads
2 weeks later, 400 quid for my wifes car, rear discs and pads all round
Someones having a laugh at my expense
HT lead? Have you changed spark plugs? Coil or coil pack and HT lead?
What Mazda is it?
I’m pretty sure I’ve spun a bearing tbh
NB MX5
1.8 non VVT so wont be a hard swap and worth fixing as it has all the nice Nardi bits and a proper diff in.
Brake pads changed, don’t notice anything just no more noise. More money I don’t have wahhh.
Hopefully that’s one thing off the MoT list for November.
There’s always something with cars.
Yer it’s making a humming noise when accelerating at higher speeds. Wheel bearing?
In my experience, you get a droning noise once you hit 30mph or so.
Nah not till around 70
