Yeah I get you, if you don’t have a drive to charge on I can’t see it working right now either…and there seems to be little development happening to address that. I want to see some charging roads…those are proper futuristic!

I want an EV as there are great tax incentives in Australia to lease them…
I don’t want a Tesla, whilst also wanting a Tesla… they’re great to drive, but you know the ethics etc.
I’m not sure that many other options are as compelling or as tried and tested. So, it leaves someone like me just not getting a new car at all, rather than one or the other.

What’s the most money you’ve allowed yourself to lose on a car to get rid? Got one I paid £12.5k for in the summer but now selling and can’t find an offer anywhere for more than £8.5k. Tried everywhere, for months. Part of me wants to swallow it and move on but another bit is like…that’s a £4k loss. Bitter pill and all that. Anyone else been in this boat? Need the money for something else and paying tax and insurance on it at the moment. Then it’ll be service and MOT before you know it.
That’s a big loss in a short time, definitely gonna sting but my experience is that it’s best to just sell it and move on.

Yeah, it’s a shitter but just get rid sooner rather than later, it isn’t going to go up in value. I’ve not lost that much but I have done some terrible deals on cars that I just had to have, it’s best not to dwell on it or else it might end up putting you off buying the next stupid thing.

My Touareg is in for service and MOT today. Thoughts and prayers. Need to book my Integra in for MOT too, that lapsed last July

Passed. Integra should pass too, it has only done 200 miles since the last MOT! They’re good fun - I’ve had two, a DC2 first, then this DC5 which I imported in 2018.

Saw a Countach drive over the harbour bridge yesterday. I was too slow to get my phone out to get a photo. Looked legit too, driving in convoy with a couple of newer lambos.
