That’s fantastic!
I had my fingers crossed for you.

Model 3 performance seems to be better?
I’ve got an order in for one. I think they’re sick.
Yeah swap for a burn in the Merc!
I promised myself my next car would be electric. Definitely don’t want an SUV. The Merc saloon thing is a bit Maybach-y design wise. Was tempted by a Porsche Taycan but range is more important than all out driving performance for me…and Porsches are a bit too flashy. Tesla was appealing and I checked with my accountant he was like ‘Go for it, 1% BIK tax’ so I did.
I’ve never seen one that is available in a base Merc spec. They’re all coachbuilt specials with unique Maybach panels. Which ones are you thinking of?
Yeah you’re probably right there. But then so do BMW/Rolls Royce and Audi/Bentley!
Maybach have only been back since like 2002 or something. They were an old coach building firm. Merc brought them back from the dead to build a Rolls/Bentley rival. They’re wholly Merc owned.
Yeah I don’t mean stats wise, just a better option with that being overpowered but shit brakes etc.
I love the square steering wheel.
Yeah they should have stuck to using the Sport brand instead of AMG branding everything. But it sells so I guess they know what they’re doing.
Just picking up a point from earlier, have you considered the Audi e-tron GT? It’s the Taycan’s sister car and actually reviews better.
When picking an electric car right now you have to consider the charging network. Nothing comes close to Tesla.
I did look at it but the range is the same or less than the Porsche. My brother has just had a Porsche Taycan estate thing delivered so I’ll see how he gets on with that. Maybe the range is enough, I dunno. I just feel more is better.
Fuck, we got some proper ballers in here!
Interestingly a lot of the books Im currently editing are to do with the EV infrastructure for local authorities and charging installation.
It might seem like that but I think the tax break on electric cars makes more people think about buying one. I’ve never bought a company car before because it wasn’t worth it but it is now so I just decided to YOLO all in!
Plus I’m mid 40s, been running a business for years, you know…mid life crisis haha.
No need to explain boss. Nice to see you doing well
