More on that new grind king truck.

I like the potentially disastrous gaping hole for kingpin nut access

Some interesting features, but the 3x options for wheelbase also going to send people insane.

All these things make perfect sense and are all solutions to various misgivings to conventional trucks. I think they are great ideas in theory but to honest, making everything so much easier kinda defeats the object of skateboarding, I think adapting to the designs that have been set is way more rewarding than keeping trying to find shortcuts. But of course progression in equipment is key to progression in anything so it’s a quandry.
Part of me feels like these things are just close to cheating and takes away from the skaters skill. I’d rather get used to working with a product that I know I can trust to respond to how I want to skate.

Plus they look utterly shite

And they don’t say which skaters, if any, they’ve worked with to develop the trucks.
And they don’t show any images or videos of the trucks in use. And there are no online reviews that I can find.

Ben Degros mind is going to explode when he sees these

They look an old set of trucks that I’ve ground in and will need to replace.

(Shape only, I’m not even starting on the colour)

ABP I know, but ‘Nut Portal’.

New one - Polar 8.125” popsicle, Indy ti, 54mm F4 classic and Swiss older than some of the local groms. Swiss cleaned last night but I’ll have to admit they’re past their best now.

Need to relearn tailslides don’t I haha

Back tail is my dream trick. Not sure if it’s possible as a new learn now but if you don’t try you’ll never know I guess.
