Board on the right reminds me of the Powell Saiz ‘Buffalo’ when they just decided to only output shit graphics
Haha, you said that on my previous one of these that I had 18 months back! I’m pretty chilled tbh as long at it is predominantly white underneath and the graphic isn’t massive.
Hahaha shit
Go step by step, first do backside ollies into tail stalls on curbs then take it from there. You got it.
me n Mal were pissing about with flip back tails on a blocky thing at ramp on last weekend, felt well more likely to lock into than a ‘simple’ back tail.
The secret is Keeping shoulders as parallel to the ledge as possible. Try and resist your body rotating.
Roll. Away. Clean.
Edit:not specifically replying to you Franc. Yours are rad as fuck.
I always found flip back 50-50’s easier than back 50-50s, so something in that. That was about 28 years ago so not something I can claim now!
Thanks for the kind words honey pie.
It’s all in the hips and shoulders if you want to sit on them and come out straight indeed.
I find them harder to control if you want to come out fakie.
When do you normally go to R1? I’ve not been for a couple of years, wouldn’t mind heading up some time.
Do it man. We usually do the 9 AM Sunday morning session mate.
That’s Hardcore
Will see and dm if I get a morning pass haha
Thought my axles were slipping a week or so ago and can now confirm they are. Nothing major at the moment but any primo hits knock them slightly out. The worst, absolutely WORST thing is I wanted to grind these down to the axle AND I’d just set up a new deck and wheels so can’t really Christmas complete just now.
I’m 50/50 on getting a new pair of hollow forged right now as they’ll only get worse and might be unusable before I get to the axle. FWIW they’re earlier Indy 139 forged ti and I believe they can have axle issues if Slap is to be believed.
This bothers me more than it should as I’ve never ground a pair of trucks to the axle and it is a personal goal of mine haha.
Yes there are more important things going on in the world…
Can you contact shiner and see if it’s an issue? I thought Indy were ‘guaranteed for life’?
Potentially, been trying to find the shipping email but can’t so at the moment no proof of purchase. I think I’ve had them since mid to late 2020 when I was struggling with the weight of Indy standard so went lighter.
It’s probably worth seeing how it goes as they’re not floating yet, it’s just a primo wack that’ll move them. I Can deal with adjusting nuts once per session but if they get worse it’ll do my head in.
The thought of starting with new trucks is horrid.
Just twat it against a kerb every time it slips.
Yeah very true. I’ll feel like a teen again! I always carry a skate tool so it’s not the end of the world.
Axl slip covered under life time warranty indeed!
Worth a punt
Just had an insta advert pop up for ‘rims for your skateboard’…
It instantly gave me fear of the nut coming loose and a wheel falling off from the hand tightening on the video.
Grindking used to do something similar to these, and they were called ‘Rims’ too.
They were also a bag of shit.
