Uk brands seem alot more reasonable. Whos the bestest uk brand now? And which woodshops do they use?
I ride Cafe boards and they are decent. HLC wood.

I get that it seems that deck prices are now extortionate but to put it in perspective decks cost between £30 to £40 nearly 40 years ago. That’s the equivalent of £90 to £120 in 2025,
(according to the Bank of England inflation calculator). I think we’ve had it pretty good for a long time. The industry is bollocksed for a stack of reasons and keeping decks at an unrealistically low price forever isn’t going to help any.

Yeah, picked up a Cafe deck a month back in the sales. £45. Didn’t have any issues with my last Cafe so happy to have another one, gripped and ready to go 
Cafe 8.38’s are a personal favourite.
Also, compared to almost any other sport skating is cheap. Tennis rackets. Football kits. Bikes. Golf.

I find 8.38 to be just right for me. Love my Sour deck and will get the same again next time. Sour graphics are generally pretty sick too.
I skated over ten decks that had the same shape and absolutely loved all of them. Skating one now and have more on ice.
Warning: Deluxe (Krooked, Real, Antihero) sell this shape as 8.5 x 31.875 x 14.25 and Magenta sell it as 8.4. It’s always the same shape, it’s basically a 8.4 near the front trucks and it tapers down to 8.3 or something near the back bolts. All Magenta decks are made by BBS, older Deluxe boards are made by BBS, newer ones in Europe are made in China. I haven’t skated the new ones made in China, I love BBS wood too much. Hope this helps.
Haha, gonna just try and keep with these current trucks until they’re insufferable. I’d just need wheels as it stands though haha

I clicked on the aa one several times due to morbid curiosity. Like a car crash or dead body in the woods. Would never actually purchase.
